HBOWA 20KW Battery Features
Compatible With Solar Inverters
HBOWA solar 20KWh lifepo4 batteries have smart BMS that support CAN, RS232, and RS485 communication protocols, these 20kwh batteries are all compatible with tier 1 solar inverters in the market. If you are a distributor or solar installer with tier 1 solar inverters, HBOWA will be your first choice.
HIgh Quality Characteristics of 20KWh Batteries
- Long Cycle Life; HBOWA both provide 20KWh low voltage and high voltage lithium batteries. With advanced lithium iron phosphate technology, with over 6000 cycle times, suitable for various application scenarios.
- Easy to install; HBOWA 20KWh batteries can be installed stackable and rack mount, which are space saving and easy to install and maintain in the later use;
- High safety; Each of HBOWA low voltage and high voltage lifepo4 batteries is equipped with the battery management system, protecting the battery against overcharge, over discharge, overheating, short circuit protection, etc.
The time to charge the 20kwh battery depends on many factors:
- Charging Power
- For Level 1 charger, it will support the power of around 1.4 -1.9 KW. According to the formula: t = E/P, E means energy, P means charging power, so if the charging power is 1.4KW, then the charging time = 20KWh/1.4KW = 14.3 Hours. At 1.9KW, the charging time would be about 20KW/1.9KW = 10.5 Hours.
- For Level 2 charger, it will provide the power of around 3.3 – 19.2 KW. then the charging time would range from 1.04 hours(at 19.2KW) to around 6.06 hours(at 3.3KW).
- DC fasting charging(if you have the DC charger and compatible with the battery), these chargers can provide power ranging from 50 to 350KW. then the charging time for 20KWh battery will be from 3.4 minutes(at 350KW) to 24 minutes(at 50kw).
These values above are the approximate times and actual charging times may vary.
- Battery Management System
The BMS can adjust the charging speed to protect the 20kwh battery, it will slow the charging speed when the battery nears full charge for safety and health of the 20kwh battery.
- Temperature
When the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the electrochemical reaction rate of the battery will decrease, the charging current will be reduced, and thus the charging time will be prolonged.
When the ambient temperature is higher than 40℃, the internal reactions of the battery intensify, consuming power and increasing the internal pressure of the battery. To protect the battery, the battery management system will reduce the charging power, thereby prolonging the charging time.
HBOWA design and produce various 20KWh lifepo4 batteries according to end users’ needs. The cost of a 20kwh battery depends on the battery specifications, such as voltage, current, BMS, Bluetooth, wifi functions, etc. The 20kwh lifepo4 batteries above prices range from $2000 to $10000. If you want the specific battery price, feel free to contact our sales team directly by sending your inquiry now!
For a 20kwh battery, the runtime depends on many factors:
- Device Connection Power Consumption
As we know, T = E/P, E means energy stored in the battery, and P means the power of your device. For a 1KW device on your end, the 20kwh battery can last 20k=hours, while for a 4KW device, it will last 5 hours for the 20kwh battery.
- Battery Usage Type
For device continuous use in your home, such as the 1KW refrigerator, the 20kwh battery will last for 20 hours, while for intermittent use devices, the 20kwh battery will not last for too long.
- Battery Efficiency and Age
HBOWA lifepo4 battery DOD can reach 90%, which means you can discharge the energy from the battery for about 90% while remaining 10% inside the battery for safe and long-term use of the battery. And the cycles of charging and discharging will provide less energy in the long run. These two factors will effect the runtime of the lifepo4 batteries too.
A 20kwh features with high energy and high efficiency, can be used to power the devices in your household, such as refrigerators, air conditioners, lights, laptops, and mobile devices. For RV and Camper life, the 20kwh battery can power the RV refrigerator, water Pump, entertainment systems such as TV, DVD player, sound systems and so on.
The weight of the 20kwh battery may vary depending on its specifications, voltage, current, BMS, etc. For the 20kwh batteries above, the weight of them is listed as follows:
