Description
This is the 48v 100ah server rack battery, which refers to lithium battery and the lifepo4 as the positive electrode material. The lifepo4 rack mount batteries have high energy density and long cycle life of over 6000 cycle times. We design and process the server rack battery 48V with the concept that you can extend the capacity of the battery easily, and install and maintain them easily, and the rack mounted installation mode makes it space-saving and ideal for home energy storage, RV battery backup supply, commercial energy storage systems, etc.

The ingress protection rate of lifepo4 battery case is IP20, the stored temperature should be between – 2 0℃ and 5 5 ℃. Check the installation environment such as dust, water, insects, etc. Make sure it is suitable for IP20 battery system.
It is required to charge the 48v rack mount lithium battery at least once every 6 months, for this charge maintenance make sure the SOC is charged to higher than 85%. Connection of power connector, grounding point, power cable, and screw are suggested to be checked every year.
The duration of the 48V 100Ah battery depends on the DOD of the battery and the power consumption of the application. For example, we recommend 80% DOD for this 48V 10Ah server rack battery for protection of the battery and a long time lifespan, so the total power you will get is:
48V * 100Ah * 80% = 3840 VAh = 3.84KWh.
If your appliance power is 500W, then it will last:
3.84KWh/500W = 7.68h.
You can use the formula: P = V * I. P means power, V means voltage, and I means current.
For 48V 100Ah battery, V=48V, I= 100A, then we get:
P = 48V * 100A = 4800W, and convert it into KW: 4800W/1000 = 4.8KW.
So a 48V 100Ah battery has a theoretical maximum power output of 4.8KW. However, in real-world applications, the actual power will be lower than 4.8KW due to factors such as efficiency rate and discharge losses.
The server rack design for the batteries is intended to facilitate easy installation while prioritizing safety.
A battery of 48V is generally better than the 12V battery in the energy storage system application. We list the following advantages below for your reference.
- Higher Efficiency; 48V batteries have lower current than 12V batteries, which reduces the energy loss and improves power transmission.
- Improved Safety; Reduced current lowers the risk of battery overheating and other safety issues.
- Scalability; Higher voltage batteries can be connected to larger power batteries easily while needing fewer batteries than 12V batteries.
- Industry Standard. 48V batteries are more commonly used in solar backup power systems than 12V, offering better compatibility to devices such as solar inverters than 12V batteries.
