Considering the efficient sunlight time is 4 hours per day, and we choose 550w solar panels as the example, so each solar panel can generate about: 550 watt * 4 hours = 2200wh per day. To charge the 15kw lithium battery, we still need about the number of solar panels:
15kwh / 2200 wh = 6.8 pieces.

The calculation above is under the ideal conditions. The actual usage of the 5kw solar system may have various results. There are many variable factors involved. For example: the efficiency of transferring the electrical energy generated by the solar panels to the lithium batteries, the depth of battery charge and discharge (to avoid affecting the battery life, we usually recommend it to be at 80%), the amount of electrical energy you need to store (sometimes you will use the electrical energy generated by the solar energy during the day and store the remaining energy in the batteries for use at night or on cloudy and rainy days), and so on.
