Server rack battery communication and control by computer setting

The 48V server rack battery can be connected to the computer by the RS232 communication cable, you can see all the data of the 48v server battery in real-time monitoring system, like battery pack voltage, pack current, SOC, SOH, and voltage of each battery cell. You can set the specifications of the 48v server rack battery such as voltage protection, current, temperature monitoring, and so on from the parameter setting page, and you can set the inverter communication protocol  CAN, RS485 from the system configure page. One thing must be clear here, only professional technicians with the necessary knowledge and expertise can operate all these settings of the server rack battery.

What is the voltage output of the 48V 200Ah lithium ion battery?

The nominal voltage of the lithium ion battery is 48V, and the standard charging voltage is 54V, the standard discharging voltage is 40.5V.

How long will a 48V 200Ah lithium battery last?

For this lifepo4 48V 200Ah battery, we suggest 80% DOD to get a longer lifespan. To calculate the backup time of the battery, let’s take an example, if we use a 5000W inverter with the power efficiency of 94% in the solar system, if your home appliances are working at the power of 5KW to reach the full rate of the inverter, then the run time of the lithium battery would be:

48V * 200Ah * 0.8 * 0.94 / 5000W = 1.444 hours.

If you only use lights, an electrical fan, and a refrigerator at night, the power needed is about 450w, then the run time would be:

48V * 200Ah * 80% * 0.94 / 450w  = 16.04 hours.
